Bears and Pickles

Alright, so Kasey has been wondering why I have neglected our blog site, especially since it is so easy to update! Reason One: Not a lot of time to spend on the computer before Anne wants to commandeer it; Reason Two: No one even knows about our blog site. However, that is a catch 22 because since we don't have anything interesting on our site, we haven't told any one we created it, and since no one looks at it I haven't worried about updating it. Basically, I have some work to do to solve the dilemma.

This past weekend, Kasey and I went to stay at the Bluebird Inn Bed and Breakfast on Bear Lake, leaving Anne to her first sleep over, ever! Boy, did I miss her. She had lots of fun playing with her cousins, though, so I don't think she missed us! We also saw a melodrama called "Chuck Wagon's Wild West Showdown" at the Pickleville Playhouse that sits right on Bear Lake. Before the show, they had a barbecue which Kasey and I partook of (for an extra charge, of course.) Mmmmm!

Beginning in 2002, we have made it a tradition to stay at the Bluebird each summer and watch a show at Pickleville. We missed last year because I was too chicken to leave Anne overnight (she wasn't even a year old yet.) Since Kasey's great aunt and uncle own the Bluebird and it is so cozy and pretty, we have chosen that as our place to stay, if you want to check it out visit: www.thebluebirdinn.com

It has been my goal every year to buy and eat a "Pickle Sickle" at the Pickleville Playhouse! And I never bought one until this year! YAY! I was excited to eat my one dollar "Pickle Sickle," it just seems like every ought to since it is the Pickleville Playhouse after all.
